SARDAR PATEL-Unifier Of India
Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel (31 October 1875 – 15 December 1950),
The man who called as "IRON MAN OF NATION",first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India.he was an indian barrister and a senior leader of indian national congress.
He played a major role in freedom movements and one of the great leaders who opposed british rule.he took the responsibility to maintain peace and ensure security at the time of partition of india. Patel organised relief efforts for refugees fleeing to Punjab and Delhi from Pakistan.
He lead the india to unite and acted as the commander in chief of armed forces and united all 562 princely states including hyderbad,junagard,j&k with help of armed forces and stratigic plans.
Patel was a senior member of constitution assembly and responsible for some great ideas and shaping the constitution of india.patel supported minorites and tribal people and he was the chairmen of all fundemental and other commitiees and he also guided kaira-dist farmers to set up a milk dairy now its called as "amul milk ". he hepled to many groups of different places in order to settle.
He saved Indian civil servants from political attack; he is known as the "patron saint" of India's services.he played a great role in creating All India Services which he described as the country's "Steel Frame".patel then lead the indian armed forces in indo-pak war(1947,first kasmir war).
